Jonathan Coiley

Managing Director

Jon is the Managing Director of Acorn and has over 20 years’ experience gained in the business to business service sector. He joined Acorn as Group Finance Director in 2008. Jon created Acorn’s strong purpose of Building Trust which is the foundation of our strategy for sustainable growth. Jon spent three years with Vivendi Water UK and then seven years with the Customer Systems group. He holds a BEng (Hons) in Metallurgy and Materials Science from Leeds University and is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants.

Paul Franklin

Operations Director

Paul is our new Operations Director and is responsible for the overall delivery of services to our clients. He joins us after spending a number of years in Senior roles and brings with him fantastic leadership skills with an ability to create a high-performing integrated team committed to delivering exceptional client results. Paul has extensive experience in the FM field and is passionate about service excellence and maximising the client journey.

Mark Lye

Business Development Director

Mark leads our sales and bid team to develop both existing and new business as Acorn continues to grow and develop. He is a fully qualified member of the British Institute of Facilities Management and Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply. With facilities services, construction, maintenance and property experience on both client and contractor sides of the industry, he brings a pragmatic approach to work winning, mobilisation, transition planning and execution.

Steve Vincent

Service Director

Steve joined Acorn in 1985 and has progressed through various operational roles from air-conditioning engineer to his current role as Service Director. As Service Director Steve has line manager responsibility for 5 Contracts Managers and their various portfolios. He also has the additional responsibility of maintaining the ISO 9001 Quality and 14001 Environmental accreditations and the OHSAS Health and Safety accreditation throughout the business.

Kenny Hogg

Service Director

Kenny is a fully qualified electrician with more than 35 years’ experience in the industry. He joined Acorn as a mobile maintenance engineer in 1987 and has been a service director with the company since 2002. Kenny’s role includes leadership of Marsh Environmental, in house water treatment company, our NICEIC electrical department and overall responsibility for the mobilisation, transition and efficient running of our contract base.

Hayley Smith

Group HR Manager

A member of the CIPD, Hayley Smith joined the Acorn Group in 2013 and became Group HR Manager in 2014. With 19 years of human resources experience and extensive generalist experience gained through working at both large and small companies. Hayley's employment history includes positions such as Human Resources Manager for Urban Golf and Human Resources Business Partner for GE aligned with legal services and retail.

Leanne Lamerton

Group Marketing Manager

Leanne joined Acorn in March 2015 as our Group Marketing Manager and has brought with her over 12 years’ experience working in B2B communications and marketing. She oversees the Group marketing department and ensures the delivery of the communications and marketing strategy for the business. She has a BSc (Hons) in Management Science 2(i) and previously spent seven years working for Balfour Beatty in a similar role. Leanne enjoys developing relationships with key stakeholders and works closely with the rest of the management team.
